About Us

 

Mr & Mrs Wedding PR is a specialist public relations and marketing consultancy providing

support to small-to-medium sized businesses in the UK party supplier and wedding trade

industries.

 

We are the nation's first specialist PR company to provide multi-functional

industry-related communications and marketing material, which includes an online supplier

directory porthole for both brides-to-be and party planners (iEvent), an online

business link directory for trade businesses (iTrade), and an industry news hub.

 

Established in 2012 by former local radio newsreader, Carolyn Fray, after discovering a gap in the market for integrated and multi-functional comms support to the trade, the company grew as a result of the birth of her first son and the need to find a healthy work-life balance, while still continuing to pursue the career she loves.  

 

Carolyn has a Postgraduate Masters degree in a Communications subject and almost 10 years professional experience in PR, Marketing and Communications within the healthcare, tourism, science, and commercial sector. She brings her previous experience as a professional newsreader and broadcast journalist to write engaging copy, which connects her industry clients with fellow journalists effectively.

 

After organising her own wedding in 2010, Carolyn thoroughly enjoyed the process of sourcing suppliers and involving herself in their products and services. She understands the huge amount of effort that goes into setting up a party or wedding business from scratch.
